5. Migration Assessment and Email List

When you use the free Migration Assessment, we collect information about your IT environment (such as source platform, Exchange version, user count and selected workloads) along with the contact details you choose to give us (work email address, and optionally company name and phone number).

We use that information to generate your PDF report and to email it to you. We also store your email address on a Mailgun mailing list (EU data centre) so we can send an occasional roundup of new articles on our website, typically every three to four weeks. That list is not a CRM and we do not sell or rent the addresses.

The lawful basis for the report email is your request for the document. The lawful basis for the occasional blog roundup is consent, given when you tick the box on the assessment form. You can unsubscribe from the list at any time using the link in those emails, or by contacting us at info@ejkconsultancy.co.uk. Unsubscribing from the roundup does not delete the copy of your assessment already sent to us as a business enquiry.

6. Data Retention

We retain contact form enquiries and consultation records only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which they were collected, or to satisfy legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Addresses on the Microsoft 365 insights mailing list are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
